DoBB Modules

DoBB Modules are small boards with a few header pins to place on an expansion base. The module size is either 3x7 or 5x7 cm. Each module has male pin headers on each corner:

  • top left: GND and +3.3V
  • top right: +5V and GND
  • bottom left: 4 module-specific inputs and outputs
  • bottom right: 4 "bus" pins shared with other modules

The two ground pins are placed on the outside, such that plugging a module in the wrong way will not supply either 3.3V or 5V to it (but IO-4 and BUS-D` will be shorted).

Some modules only use the left-side GND plus the right-side 5V pins, and can also be plugged into a breadboard.
